I'm pretty sure he won't. The guy seems to have no go oin him at all. Lazy in the ring and the gym and I bet a pound to a pinch of **** that he won't come in decent shape.

You are really joking, he was already 230 in his amateur time as a super heavy ...

Eddie Chambers showed that it can be done. WTF is wrong with these fat pricks?

Is it the knowledge that they will only ever be fighting to be the third best in the division?

Solis also said this in an interview about a month ago.

J.S: What would you say to those critics who say you carry too much weight in some of your fights?

O.S: Only I know my body. I’m not an [Chris] Arreola or one of those guys. I’m a different breed. Have you seen me fight, how fast I am and how many punches I throw?"

So basically he's saying that he has no plans to lose any weight. Whatever he comes in at, I'm sure it will still be too heavy for him.

Wasn't his fight with Haye around 175?

Öner was on record saying that weight doesn't matter for Solis. What an idiot.

If Solis wants to have a slim chance against Vitali then he has to be able to move around and be quick on his feet for 12 rounds. Every extra baggage around the hips makes a win for him more unlikely.

The fight with Haye was at 201--that was a long time ago. His Olympic gold was also at 201.

I think Solis would be very effective at 240 lbs. I don't know if he'll ever weigh in that low again.

It is appalling that nobody in Solis' camp seems to exert any pressure on him to get in shape. They all seem to believe he can weight 275lb like a fat tub of lard and he'll still float through the ring like a butterfly and elegantly outbox a world champ.

At 250 he is still very fat.

In the future, if HBO is even interested in showing Vitali vs Solis for example, they should put it into contract that both fighters should have below a certain % of body fat, if they surpass that level they lose 25% of their purse.

Haye ran out of gas in 2001 as an amateur against Sollis at 200 pounds. He did really hurt Sollis which I have not seen anybody else do. Haye is a lot fitter now, not sure if his stamina is really there still at the highest level. However Sollis has not put on 75 pounds of muscle perhaps 35.

Sollis is slower not conditioned and only half interested now. Poor oppersition has left him complacent at best. He will beat Austin.

I am not sure about him beating Haye now, the k brothers would be interesting. I do feel he will need two bites of the cherry. the first getting his arse kicked. The second waking up to taking the game seriousily. I expect him to ko Wladimir the second time round. Unless somebody has the talent to shock him prior to the k brothers he will get beat.

Solis looked about 300lbs at the presser a while ago. Did anybody else remember that? I seriously will be surprised if he even reaches 250lbs, which is still way too heavy for his body and most of you all agree.
