I don't believe that too much as he practically boxed in Cuba for free. He may not love what he does but that doesn't mean that he hates boxing. Plus, he has said it himself that he wants to prove that he is the best HV in the World and that he wants to repeat what he did in the amateurs. So that's motivation right there! :good

Not saying it's likely that Solis weighs in for Austin at 250, but if he even gets to 255, then that's his best weight in years. And with Klitschko in March, who's to say he couldn't lose another 15 lbs (255 to 240), given that he's gone from 300 to 265 already.

We'll see at the weigh-in how serious Solis is getting.

Good points. But on the other side, Chambers and Peters are nowhere near Solis in terms of amateur achievements, skills and raw talent and it really didn't help them at all in being in top shape as they didn't get far as HV's. Solis on the other hand, even overweight is way better than those two!

EVERY time I've seen a heavyweight claim he's finally in shape for a fight, he weighs in just as heavy as usual. It happens time and time again - Arreola, Briggs, Toney, etc. I have no reason to believe Solis will weigh less than he usually does, especially given the pictures of him from just about a month ago.

The fact we have to settle for 250 as being 'inshape' for Solis is pathetic. He should be 225-230 at most.

Haye ran out of gas in 2001 as an amateur against Sollis at 200 pounds. He did really hurt Sollis which I have not seen anybody else do. Haye is a lot fitter now, not sure if his stamina is really there still at the highest level. However Sollis has not put on 75 pounds of muscle perhaps 35.

Sollis is slower not conditioned and only half interested now. Poor oppersition has left him complacent at best. He will beat Austin.

I am not sure about him beating Haye now, the k brothers would be interesting. I do feel he will need two bites of the cherry. the first getting his arse kicked. The second waking up to taking the game seriousily. I expect him to ko Wladimir the second time round. Unless somebody has the talent to shock him prior to the k brothers he will get beat.
