That all means nothing if he had the opportunity to prove his mettle as a professional and didn't prove it.

To be fair it doesnt mewn nothing.
It shows that Solis was really good and if he had stayed dedicated he would have made a splash.
    Alas he didnt.

Ruslan Chagaev beat a younger, better version of Savon - when Ruslan was just age 17.

I remember Solis as a lazy fat slob.

Do you guys think Solis would have caused Vitali problems without the injury?

He might have won that first round

I don't know why anyone believes he won that round, when he was on the floor in the last ten seconds. It was a 10-8 round for Klitschko.

And Solis never did much before he went down, except pose a lot.

Forget the tough guy routine, admit you weren’t aware aware of this fight, apologize to me, and let’s be friends again.

I loved Vitali's entrance in that Solis fight. Was a punch that made him lose balance and do the knee.

So we are boxing him being the GOAT on how he did as an amateur?

Amateur boxing is notoriously different than professional boxing.

    I disnt say that.
I said that because someone mentioned his higher pro weights when he was a lasy slob.
His best days were as an amateur.

    The thread starter yeah.
    Obviously its reaching.
But Solis showed in the amateurs if he had stayed dedicated he could have been something-what exactly we will never know.
