    Hey folks,

The king is dead, long life the king:happy

Is Odlanier Solis, 3rd in the WBC ranks, going to be the subst for Maskaev(currently WBC 2nd), after he was kaoed yesterday and therefore out of the proposed WBC heavyweight title fight eliminator with Ray Austin.

Austin VS Solis would be a fair eliminator for the division.

At times I day-dream that two young guns -like Solis and Boytsov-square off against each other in a eliminator fight and not shot,or protected,or Don King's choir boys,or...........or Austin..........or Ruiz............or Maskaev............or Hollyfield......or .

Damn! I am so fed with the Ruiz and Austin types.

I for one surely prefer watching Solis,Boytsov,or Pala get a shot at one of the Klitschkos to watching Ruiz get his 10th shot at a world title,or Austin getting blown out of the ring in the very first round again,or............. .

    I must be daydreaming!!!:-(

Solis will probably get destroyed by a Klit though anyway so it may not matter.

Solis in my eyes needs to get better conditioning and get more fights in or he will be another one trick pony who was rushed along to fast to get the big payday rather then take his time get better and get several paydays.

Should be a decent fight- apparently Austin's been on a bit of a roll after Wlad beat him. Throw some pickles, swiss cheese, and mustard on that roll and you've got Solis' lunch.

Well I guess we'll get to see what Solis has in that fight. I think Solis will take Austin down.

As good a fight as any. After Povetkin and Chambers, he seems the most ready of he young guns.

But please loose 40-50 pounds first.

This would be a decent fight actually. I'd make Solis the favorite but Austin has been on a roll lately. He's not anything special but I think he is a better fighter than his performance with Wlad showed. Austin is a good test and could pull it out if Solis doesn't get his weight together. Otherwise I'd take Solis.

That's exactly why I'm picking Solis. If it's on a roll, it's not going to last long with Odlanier.
