Read this on another forum where someone posted the interview. Solis says that he is still recuperating from the surgeries. He says he dosen't know where the Rumors came from, as he still has to go back to Germany for the doctor to issue a therapy program.

Why?? He has the ability to outbox most of the heavyweight division. He is a great boxer, but he puts most of it to waste by not training properly :dead

how do ****ing rumors like this get started? down to the date and the **** opponent they picked out that his fans still made excuses for...i think the fight got so much **** press, they simply changed their mind and wanted to wait till after the new year

and you were ripping him apart and some claiming the injury was fake.

Given the fact that he was going to return in october period would have been a great acheivement, and you wanted a top 15-20 hw in there with him.

And that's exactly why he should retire.

I rather watch a 40 year old skill-limited guy like Monte Barrett who comes into the ring in top shape despite his age than watch a gifted but fat slob of lard like Solis **** on our sport by falling to the floor like a drunken sailor.

Solis has no passion for the sport. He doesn't care about boxing. He's a lazy SOB who wants easy money without breaking a sweat. He can f*** off.

He should retire and noone will miss him.

no, like last time dickhead.... theres a difference in me wanting to see him in with someone thats not ranked #299 , i would settle for top 50-100? or is that still too dangerous? look, if the guy comes back he comes back..not giving him props because he would have came back early? even one gets injured...he gets props for beating up people that are good, not for coming back early and beating a super middleweight...which isnt happening anyway
he will still be back, fatter than ever...i promise

This sums up my feelings about Solis.

I realize people love his amateur record, but that stayed in the past along with his dedication and love for the sport.

Outside of national pride, I can't understand why anyone defends this guy.

Yeah I thought the October date was too soon to be true. I just hope he doesn't put too much weight on in his time off but realistically if he can't keep the weight down active he wont be able to do it sitting on his ass

for one, you said i said he didnt have an injury...i never ****ing disputed that, show me where i said he was faking? i said, he wouldnt have gotten it if he wouldnt have gotten smashed in the face, causing his legs to buckle....he was hurt because he got rocked and your legs go...it happens all the time, but hes so fat that it hurt him in this instance.... holyfield, tyson, lewis, guys that were always in shape, ever **** up their knee in a fight even at a young age? my point excatly
