Odlanier Solis Takes First Pro Loss by KO1, Puts on Diamond Encrusted Spongebob

This thread is for small, humorous moments in boxing history. This is one of my favorites as it's the funniest moment of a night with many (in hindsight) funny moments.

- Solis gets hit in the temple, maybe something happens to his knees, maybe he's hurt. Goes down and is counted out.

- An enraged Vitali walks toward a hobbling Solis. Baby bro Vlad sprints across the ring to restrain big bro, Vitali tries to push him aside to get at Solis.

- Solis sits on his stool, seemingly unaware that his Olympic gold winning, undefeated, highly touted career will effectively be over. To cheer himself up, he requests his team don him with his diamond encrusted spongebob necklace.

Marco Huck vs. Pietro Aurino: Two of the most dirty fighters which the Cruiserweight have seen; both doing a lot of rabbit-punches, elbow-shots, low blows and hitting after the bell (two times), while the Italian is from the start complaining at the referee, who didn't warn all of Hukic fouls, but either warned him or both. Then after another flurry about 15 seconds after round 2, the old gangster had enough and went with protests/ escaped out of the ring. To just come few minutes later/ at the half way to his dressing room back and wanting continue.

Norman Stone stealing the WBA belt, after his prodegé John Ruiz lost the fight against Nikolay Walujew, and fighting for it against an elter bodyguard of Sauerland. After that he got fired as coach.

Just watched it. Fight wasn't dirty enough to quit like he did. He was complaining way too much, Aurino. He was the one who headbutted at the end of the round 2 action.

Funniest thing is Huck being sponsored by Pizza Hut :rofl

Here's a good one many people may not know:

Floyd overhears Lampley and Roy talking football mid round and gives his opinion. Lampley has them show Floyd doing it on replay as the round ends. The next round he straight up asks Floyd a football related question, Floyd answers. Mayweather proceeds to KO his opponent in the same round.

Ohner screaming at Solis after he loses to Thompson in the second fight. Ohner practically puts on gloves to beat Solis up.

Solis just sitting there not even moved by it. Dude doesn't care at all.

This was funny. It was even funnier when Solis got into Oner's face and jawed back (some incomprehensible obscenities) at him. He was more enraged about Oner's prodding him to get up off the stool than he was towards losing.

That whole fight was sad for everyone involved. There were literally no winners.

Most hilarious and weirdest heavy weight fight of all times: Sidon vs Valuev in an old teatre in the Czech Republic's capital Prague.

Ref stops their fight,Valuev and Sidon continue fighting,ref wants to escape but is forced back to the ring by violent fans,debris and bottles flying over the fighters ' heads,some landing inside the ring,due to the bottles' liquid ring resembles ice ring,ref manages to flee in 5th or 6th round,Valuev and Sidon continue fighting.
Absolutely crazy fight it was! I still take my hat off to both Sidon and Valuev for that memorable night:good

A Tuesday night fight favorite.

Undefeated Anthony Hembrick comes out doing a coreographed dance routine with his corner before figthing Booker T. Word for the USBA LHW chamionship.

Hembrick is knocked down three times and brutally stopped.

FNF's some guy borrows a friend's pair of trunks, but the friend had a fight that same day too. Dude supposedly suffered a broken nose and bleed, literally, everywhere. The guy's trunks were washed with blood before the fight even starts due to this.
