Indeed he did. It such a damn shame that he can't be bothered to get in shape, he is such a talented fighter and was back in the day, when he was in shape, so much better than Haye.
I agree.If you look at Alexeev now it seems like it´s only a matter of time until he takes over the cruiserweight devision.One can see where dedication and hard work gets you to.Too bad Solis kind of took the opposite direction.
Interesting post,chris! By the way Solis also scored a razor thin point victory over Alexeev when he kicked him out of the olympic tournament some years ago. Solis was the more active fighter whereas Alexeev connected with the more telling punches then. I guess that Solis would have lost that fight if it had been a pro fight. A pity that we wont be able to watch a rematch between them as Alexeev campains at cruiser weight and the Cuban at heavy weight.
Cut Solis some slack...its hard to come in fit when your competing in monthly hotdog eating contests with Chris Arriola...atsch
