I think "fattest" or "laziest" would have been better adjectives.

In terms of pure skill he's the most talented active Heavyweight there is but the lightest he's been as a Pro Heavyweight has been 246lbs which is still 20lbs too heavy for him.

Had he been dedicated from the start, trained and ate properly and come into fights at 225lbs i think he'd currently be the undisputed World Heavyweight Champion, as it is he's just another boxer who wasted his career.

Those HLs are defo nice......but he needs to get active, and fast.

I dont agree with those calling for him to thin out to 220-230. I think a fit Solis is between 235-245. He's got a good build for his size, and doesnt give up too much speed carrying the few extra lbs.

He's got great handspeed and mixes up his shots as good or better than than anyone in the top 10.

Not saying he's elite, but he defo has the potential, even at 30 yo to be an elite. Now, let's just find a way to talk him into the ring.:-(

    Very talented.

    Solis
    Fury
    Chisora
    Pulev
    Perez
    Stiverne

Instead of fighting small guys like Povetkin or Glassamek Wlad should be fighting guys like this, who can fight inside, take a shot and match a similar size.

The training vid is from Aug, he looks good.

If the Wlad fight was too happen I would go with Solis.

As we already know Wlad can't deal with pressure, Solis will expose this.

I doubt Wlad will take on any of the listed fighters anyway so it's not worth arguing. :good

Solis always looks good in his training videos... Then shows up to fights like a beached whale and looks horrible... He showed up fat against Vitali, what makes you think he would do anything different for Wlad? Seriously??? Povetkin is much better than Solis, and would decision him no problem.. TT beats Solis, and based on how Solis looked against Larsen and airich I would pick Wach to beat him too!

Out of all the current contenders.

    Glazkov
    Tyson Fury
    Pulev
    Perez
    Stiverne
    Ruiz, jr.

Look the most promising... I would like to add Boystov to that lot but he has disappointed me a lot over the years.
