I read that in 2-3 years time, all fights in Texas will be generated by CGI. That way, they can better control the outcome. The fighters won't even have to show up.

Something weighing HEAVILY in Solis's favor is that both fighters are promoted by the same guy: Ahmet Oner. Solis is Oner's cash cow, his big gun at heavyweight. So, we know that Oner has long cultivated this fight in order to rebuild Solis.

As a matter of fact, Airich was deliberately pushed into the IBF and WBO top-15 ratings (including picking up a couple of minor belts) in order to "fatten" him up for Solis. The whole point is to enable Solis to reestablish himself on the world scene, quickly and easily.

Has Airich read the script? Is he willing to be a fall guy for Solis, or would he really like to win?

It's hard to say.

what I think Oner's doing is wasting his time, because I find it hard to imagine Solis ever being the same fighter as before the injury in the Vitali fight

 

He does look a good unit, Airich, but he was stopped in one round by a Tye Fields body shot. Maybe it was a lucky shot, we'll see on Saturday.

 

I wouldnt be surprised if solis came in heavier than ever. he's been off too long and his dedication is questionable...being from cuba, coming to the u.s was like a kid entering a candy shop when it comes to...uhh, cuisine.

 

you missunderstood me, i think Airich is a good fight to test the waters,he is not a bum, i was referring at Rodriguez fighting those nobodies.If he gets pass Airich then go to real contenders

 

He is looking beyond decent considering his long layoff and freak injure.But dont expect Mike Tyson.:good

 

If he doesn't at least come in around 220-230, he should just retire and go on Celebrity Fit Club. The fact that his weight injured his leg is just ridiculous.
