Don't how Arreola have handled the loss to Vitali yet. He was very dissappointed and I think Odlanier would be the more motivated fighter and show up in better shape than against Barrett.
phierl, we've been saying that about Arreola the whole time, that he will be more motivated for this fight and that fight and the next fight. What makes you think that Solis, a guy who has consistently shown up fatter in every fight, will suddenly buck the trend and get in shape without some serious external pressure? Only way Solis is going to get in shape is if someone like Arreola beats the ever loving snot out of him.
First of all the solis who knocked out Barrett couldn't get much fatter. His body mass index number was 35, and I would just like to think that beating Arreola who just met one of the champs would motivate him enough to at least come in better shape than in his last fight
you're entitled to think what ever you want to think, i'm only pointing out that the chances of that coming true are historically very slim (no pun intended).
maybe i'm too optimistic, but who do you think would be relatively best prepared of the two, if the fight happened now?
Potential promotional slogans: "Fat Chance: Solis v Arreola Title Eliminator" "The Fatter They Are, The Harder They Fall"
Id go with Arreola it would be competetive at first maybe Solis doing better. Then around the 6th Arreola would start whupping him,He has proven stamina and he gets better as the rounds go on hed stop solis around 9.
