Who do you guys think wins the battle of Fat boys:lol: No all kidding aside im a fan of Arreolas and he is the most exciting HW out there, but i was also impressed with Solis tonight outside of his weight 268!He throws punches with bad intentions, and looks as strong as a bull. This would be exciting thats for sure as both throw big strong punches, Solis has the edge in handspeed and looks like he might even hit a little harder, but i like Chris's Combos, and i think he has better conditioning. Solis feet look like they were stuck in quick sand, he looked a little clumsy when he had to chase Drummond. Was drenching in sweat after 3 rounds, although that might not mean nothing i just get the feeling he might get winded.

    Who wins this one?

Instead of them fighting each other, I would just put them on a treadmill and see who could last longer

Actually Arreola has more stamina than most of the Hwts out there.

yeah unfortunatley you are probably right, Chris would be so much better and faster if he came in around the 230- 240 range, he would be quicker and he probably would have been able to get to Vitali easier, he looked clumsy at times but i dont think Chris is clumsy i just think the Weight slows him down. I think Chris thinks the weight makes him stronger.

Yey i agree with you, but i wasnt trying to say he would have beat Vitali i was just saying he would have done better and probably made it more competetive.

Oh yeah id say so, in fact i think he is the 3rd best heavy in the world if he stays in decent shape, he would knock Haye out and him and Povetkin would be intresting. If he comes in decent shape he will beat Adamek too.

Im surprised this thread hasnt got more hits, Didnt any of the "Boxing Fans" on the General watch Solis tonight? I mean this would be an exciting fight maybe the best (action wise) that i could think off among the heavyweights. For the Unofficial Latino Heavyweight Championship! Yey both are on the fat side but both hit hard and have better than average skills and come to fight.

I voted for Solis, on the reason that he would be fighting at the 250 - 255lb range. Anything higher than that, and i reckon Arreola would outwork him to a decision. Both are quite similiar fighters in terms of chin, and power. But i personally belief Oldanier has the better handspeed, and skill...

Solis easily outboxes Arreola. However, Vitali took 10 rounds to finish off Arreola, meaning Solis won't do it at all. He cannot control Arreola in the same fashion that Vitali did (flawlessly, embarrassingly, humiliatingly, total domination, bossed and tossed, and forced to cry). Solis cannot out slug Arreola, or at least shouldn't try to, and therefore would be wise to use his technical advantages (footwork, ring generalship, the skills that won him the gold in 2004, etc...assuming he can discipline himself to do so for 12 full rounds) in order to avoid mixing it up with Chris so as not to chance being seriously clocked and having that chin cracked in ways it has yet to be cracked. Solis by wide decision due to the gap in boxing skill, of course, if he decides to incorporate his superior skills and stick to a solid gameplan. Arreola isn't exactly the kind of guy to force you into backup gameplans. He's pretty straightforward, and makes no secrets about it. It would be a test in mental fortitude for Solis. One X factor though, if either guy were to show up to the fight with a pair of titties I would immediately declare him the underdog, as I believe conditioning would be a big decider in this one.
