Good fight! Both are good fighters, should be a good one. I like the fact that the top guys are fighting the top guys......................

    Too early for a prediction.

    Top Rank signed Samuel Peter!

It's not too hard to see what is Bob Arum thinking here: win or lose vs. Kevis Johnson, it's safe to say we'll get Solis vs. Peter somewhere down the road. Depending on Sammy's comeback, if he can restart his career successfully and depending on Solis' form, this could be a great matchup.

Sam will be fighting 22-16 Marcus McGee on the recent Latin Fury card. Don't forget unless I'm mistaken Arum still has some stock in Hasim Rahman as well.

Wouldn't shock me if Solis got to eat on the faded heavies (Rahman and Peter) win OR loss to Kevin Johnson.

Solis will win if he drops down 15-20 pounds. Unfortunatly, i can't see that happening, in such a short space of time...

The Solis who beat Haye was only half the weight of the current one. There is no comparison in speed, accuracy, endurance and workrate. You could barely see it's him in his last fight.

I think KJ will find a way to win. It will definetly be a tougher fight for him than Vargas.

    SOLIS-JOHNSON POSTPONED!

The fight is postponed as (Rafael's blog) "Solis' trainer is unavailable for the bout and Solis didn't want to box without him. So Arum said the fight would be rescheduled, probably for the undercard of junior featherweight titlist Juan Manuel Lopez's next fight, which is tentatively scheduled to headline another Top Rank PPV card Sept. 26 in New York"

First Gamboa, now Solis. Insane! :-(

This is getting ridiculous. Mexico is absurd with visas. Giovanni Seguro's opponent, Sonny Boy Jaro also couldn't make it because of visa problems. Unbelieveable.
