With the absence of Khan vs Peterson british boxing fans can still get there fix of early hours boxing. In Pharr Texas Odlanier Solis and Konstantin Airich will fight for the IBF Intercontinental Title

    Fight Breakdown

I believe this is a good fight for the returining Solis after three operation to repair his knee after the Vitali Klitschko fight. Solis gets back in the ring against a live opponent coming of a good win who can punch

Solis in my opinion is still a top ten heavyweight. Solis who was a world class amatuer, has fast hands picking his shots nicely. But Solis has been out for over a year coming of numerous knee operation. Where as Airich is finding good form winning his last two fights by stoppage and is always in very good shape

Airich is a naturally slow starter. Who lack's upper body movement. This meaning the early rounds i excpect Solis to pressure Airich and look for the early stoppage.

If Airich negates the early round and start to get comfortable on the inside. Especially if Solis movement is imparied by his weight and injury issuses this could mean Airich could close the gap and throw his wild hock he likes to throw

Solis does have good upperbody movement and finds his angle's well. Solis does posses a thunderous shot to the body

    Odlanier Solis - Record 17(12)-1(1)

-Best win so far came in a WBC heavyweight title eliminator against Ray Austin where Solis won by tenth round DQ whilist leading on all three scorecards and putting Austin down in the fifth
-Title - WBC Latino heavyweight title, WBC International heavyweight title, WBA Fedelatin heavyweight title
    - Biggest Dissapiontment - His expanding waist line and the Loss to Vitali Klitschko when injuring his knee (But he was caught with a punch)
    - Current Bookies favourite at 1/14

    Konstantin Airich - Record - 23(17)-5(3)-2

-Best win i believe came in his last fight stopping Ondrej Pala in the ninth round to gain revenge over Pala and get his own career back on track
-Title - interim Germany BDB heavyweight title. Bigger Better Winner, IBF Inter-Continental heavyweight title, WBO European heavyweight title
    - Biggest Disapiontment- Being Stopped in four by Gbenga Oloukun and losing to novice Ed Monso but that was over three rounds
    -Current Bookies Outsider - 10/1
    -Fight Footage

Fight Prediction - Solis to stop Airich between rounds 4-6 with a body shot

    Who wins and how?

Danny Williams reckons Airich hits harder than Tyson and Vitali.
I reckon Airich by late stoppage if Solis comes in fat.
Solis needs to turn up in good shape and try and take out Airich early (as Airich is a slow starter).
Airich has also improved a lot lately. Looked good against Pala (who is a top 40 HW) and would have stopped him earlier if it were not for a corrupt ref getting involved.

Airich is fairly game, it's not a bad comeback fight for solis, I reckon he's packed the pounds on while being injured so I'll go for a late stoppage to solis.

Solis will stop him in the first 4 rounds.

Haye should fight Solis once he smashes Chisora. The Haye vs Solis fight from the AM world final is inconclusive. If that was a pro fight Haye clearly would have stopped Solis when he badly stunned him. Instead the ref gave him a standing count.
