So that's Arik in the light blue, yes?

I take it back: He's not pretty fast. He's REALLY fast. And lightning reflexes as well.

(I still don't like his balance, though)

    Round 2

Arik is sticking his neck out and rolling his melon around, slipping Cheka's jabs while turning him. Quick 1-2-1-2 detonation by Arik, his only real offensive burst for 90 seconds. All blocked. Cheka keeps jabbing and hooking into his gloves while Arik circles and picks the shots off.

    10-9 Cheka

    19-19

I agree, but Arik looks to be the far superior fighter. I think he's afraid to commit. Maybe he's afraid of the bigger man's power, and is waiting for him to tire before really attacking.

    Thanks.

    - And yes, definitely. I think I have another "favorite" fighter on my list:

Kovalev, Golovkin, Wilder, and now Arik.

I'm REALLY liking this guy. He just needs to get his torso aligned better, maybe keep his back foot slightly farther back, I dunno. It just feels wrong watching him. When he goes for the kill, he looks great, but he is missing opportunities at other times, by being slightly off-balance.

Arik starting to commit with big flurries, and wisely, to the body.

Now Cheka comes back, and Arik wisely goes all turtle, letting Cheka tire himself out.

Mark my words, in a another round or two, Arik is going to open it up and go for the kill.

  12. Cheka knock him out, Cheka, Cheka, knock him out!
