Agreed. This was German boxing at it's "finest."

They're definitely trying to out-do Texas, and I believe they are succeeding.

    My thoughs:
His trainer told him: put his guy on the ropes and you will win!

And someone told the ref: you should stop the fight.

And thats all. ONE guy got jobbed and the other is a coward piece of ****.
    :deal

NO fighter is a "coward piece of ****." - And shame on you for saying so. :nono

  5. Does Solis punch like Ottke or does Larsen have a chin like Wach?

Solis is weak these days. Couldn't knock out Airich.

Very pissed off about the last fight. It was the best action of the card, was really enjoying it until the pathetic end.

    Nice GIF!

I'm a huge 'Bean fan, and that indeed was when he was at the top of his game.

He'd beat almost anyone in a 4 rounder, probably even Lewis.

Right but he also banged out Peter McNealy and many other decent fighters. You've just went on boxrec and got a little info that's all. Bottom line is Butterbean did much more in his career than Larsen has and Larsen has given no signs that he can compete at a higher level. Butterbean also banged out a few MMA fighters.

Bean also punished the great Larry Holmes for 10 rounds, losing a very competitive fight. Granted, Holmes was old, but still, it was fricking LARRY HOLMES. Also, 'Bean was well past his prime as well at that point. - in his late 30's IIRC.

In his prime, Esch was incredibly powerful AND shockingly fast. He had tremendous boxing skills, which is how he got to where he did, despite his size. He just couldn't last past 4 rounds.

There was a very brief moment in time when even pro commentators were excited about the guy, thinking he might legitimately get into the top ten. Sadly, he just couldn't keep the weight down.

    Wow.

I hate to use a tired old term, but YDKSAB.

Watch any of 'Bean's fights from about '96 to '98, then get back to me.

Or don't get back to me. Yeah, that would be better.

I'm not going to do your homework for you.

Don't be so ****ing lazy.

Plus, besides the fact that you chose to watch his ONLY loss from 1995 until 2001, (no agenda there!) you don't see 'Bean's head movement against Rose? He pulls back, he ducks... incredibly impressive for someone that size. Also note his hand speed, which was shockingly good. And his footwork, which was just about perfect. (Again, given his size and the fact that he can't prance backwards.)

    - And this is perhaps the WORST fight he ever had until 2001. In some fights, he practically moved like Pernell Whitaker. And no, I don't have them committed to memory, so go watch them for yourself.

Of course, you won't, and even if you did you probably wouldn't get it.

Because you're right: A guy who went 54-1 (yes, in only 4 rounders and against mostly nobodys) despite being massively overweight obviousy had no skills at all. Yep!

I'm outta' here. This is like trying to teach a pig to sing. It's a bigger wast of time then looking for a download of the Larsen-Solis fight.

See, I stayed on topic!

Lets not front here. Solis is terrible. If he was from Greece, he would get no support from some here.

Solis could be built like Arnold and would still get KTFO by either Klitscko in any round they saw fit. Guy doesn't have skills. Fraud.
