Odlanier Solis vs.Tomasz Adamek possible on December 22, 2012. Who wins?

He takes away from you doing a RBR on a Tuesday at 10am between 2 unknown fighters on a card out of Norway.

I'd be really surprised if Adamek does face Solis in December. All Adamek has to do is stay busy beating guys at Walker's level until he gets a shot/payday at Wlad.

Solis would beat Adamek and ruin Adamek's shot. Adamek-Cunningham would make sense for that date. The first fight was good and the second one would be as well and would be a good match up for being on NBC.

If this fight doesn happen a lot of credit to Adamek for taking it. I think Solis would beat him and probably by stoppage but its a good fight.

 

Right. If Adamek is avoiding USS Cunningham, why would he face Solis? A fit Solis is a good deal more dangerous, and December is still a good ways off, so plenty of time for Solis to shed weight.

Cunningham or Jennings vrs. either Adamek/Solis would be more logical as Main Events cards. I've read Duva is pushing for the Adamek/USS rematch so maybe we'll get it in 2013.

I was surprised by Adamek having the power to drop Walker. If Adamek has augmented his power, the rematch at heavy vrs. Cunningham might be likely to play well for Adamek. Cunningham's weakness has been the flash knockdowns. On the other hand, Cunningham continues to look slick and sharp, in contrast to Adamek, who hasn't looked great since Arreola.

 

Why is everyone ignoring Leif Larsen in all this? No way will Solis be in a fit state to fight by December after Larsen has finished with him.

 

Every time Adamek fights someone there is a poll, and on the poll it always says Adamek will lose.

IMO, Adamek vs Cunningham is much more likely to happen on that date.

 

Adamek said himself that Cunningham is not happening in December, but let's see, I recall Duva saying he'll fight a top 5 guy

 

All depends on what Solis's shape on fight night. If he's fat and slow, he'll get out worked. Otherwise, he can actually duck and move pretty well for his size and Adamek has trouble against fighters with good defense. Adamek is past his best, but he probably takes it.

i'm gonna have to go with the guy thats never been a fat ass, likes to train, fights better caliber guys, and has 12 fights since 2009 compared to 7.... i would be my money on the guy who takes his profession serious... at least in this match up

I think Solis wins by KO in this one. Adamek isn't at his best anymore. Solis,if he gets in shape,is one of the best heavyweights on the planet.
