These guys are being such pusses.

"It probably would have been more acceptable for the cards to be around 114-114, personally I thought Herrera maybe shaded..." :blabla

Jesus. Grow a pair and say it. The highly rated unbeaten champ should have lost to an unheralded challenger lambasted as mismatched heading in.

Well, I agree IB. Although it wasn't a robbery to the extent Burns-Beltran (where the champ was even dropped once) and Chavez-Vera I were robberies, Danny Boy still got a gift!

I think a Draw would have been an acceptable result.

I scored it 116-113 to Herrera so 8-4-1 but there were also a couple of close rds.

Either way a Draw or close decision to Herrera would have been fine, Garcia didn't do enough to win though.

Eh...I had it a draw, to be honest. Herrera took his pedal off the metal in a few rounds and allowed Garcia to steal 'em on my card. :conf

How many sanctioning fees are the WBC racking up?

This fight is for the 'internation' WBC title? But Wilder is the first mandatory challenger to the winner of Stiverne-Arreola. And the WBC recently announced that they're making Jennings-Perez winner the second mandatory challenger, although the fight has yet to been made.

What the hell is the 'international' WBC title, then?!?!

At first sight this could be a decent matchup......... but then you think about it a little bit more:

Tony Thompson is forty something years old and has been knocked out a few times and lost many times by decision. The exucse that Tony was just way past it will be very valid if Tony loses.

Then we have our darling Odlanier Solis who backed out of matches VS Carlos Takam and Kevin Johnson recently. Even scoring a devastating Ko over a 5 years younger Tony Thompson wouldn't repair his credibility. Solis knocks Thompson out and the next day signs a contract to fight Wladimir Klitschko, the first thing that the fans are going to think is "It's never going to happen.". Also when you think about when Solis took his big step up to fight Vitaly he just folded like a paper bag or something, this Odlanier Solis fellow is not a predictable fellow but rather an unstable guy that can lose any fight from Ko1 for various reasons much like Andrew Golota was.

Then there are the questions about the fellows health, he might have been pulling out of those figths due to knee injuries and if he had to pull out of those fights for that reason then who says that he's gonna be aokay for his next fight. Hell this might be Solis's last fight or this fight might not even take place or we might see Odlanier limping to the ring like Sharmba Mitchell did back in the day. Yay.
