He continues like this. And based on his last fight I saw.. damn what a dissapointing performance. I am about 90 percent sure he will never lose that fat. Nope, he will stay that fat and might achieve a title but he is just average. Average. NB.: I was impressed with his first few fights.

He used to be a counter puncher boxer with good footwork in the amateurs, now he is a pro and gained a lot of weight he suddenly seems to think he is the second coming of Tyson. I wouldn't mind a Solis - Haye rematch though.

Some fighters fight better with a little more fat on them. I admit i haven't seen Solis's amateur fights so i don't know if that's true of him. But as for the Long fight, he was supposed to fight Botha that night, Long was a last minute replacement. I don't care how mediocre he is, when you're Solis and you're preparing for a guy your own size, facing a Julius Long all of the sudden will give you trouble. At the end of the day though, i, too haven't been overly impressed with Solis yet. P.S.:Utrecht is in 't huis.
All of people complaining about future superstar Solís should be banned from the forum. For incompetence. Solis was cut and didn't go for the kill, Long, whose chin is average was down nonetheless. Solis is THE prospect of the heavies.
Not really he wasn't so fat and lazy as an am, and fraduley harrison destroyed long so really it is a pretty terrible performance.
Wow, I think I understand most of that Dutch you guys are writing. Good thing, since I´ll be doing a standup comedy tour of Holland and Belgium at the end of the month. It looks a bit like German with some English and Danish ifluence actually. Bet I´ll have a harder time understanding the language when it´s spoken though
