Last I heard he was supposed to fight in October after recovering from his knee injury, but it has been almost a year now, and I wondered if there was any updates?
Apparently he was going to appear on the off tv portion of the Rios-Gamboa undercard. Not sure now with that fight all up in the air.
It's a shame, because I was always one of those who thought he would have made a great challenger, if he'd just turn up in shape!
I think there was a problem with his papers when he wanted to leave the U.S. Don't know any more than that.
Any source? not doubting you, I just like to read what happened. Sounds like he may have tried to start working out to early. ACL grafts take a while to die and fill in with living tissue. To many people feel good and then tear them open when it is at it's weakest. Always listen to your doctors.
