ODLH didn't show the dedication outside the ring???

i might have to buy that.saw it in the boxshop and figure it would just be some media friendly bs like he talks whenever he is on tv

 

I'm not knocking the guy, am sure I would have done the same thing in his position.

The Ring article was in a printed version I think it was the tale end of last summer.

He stated that he was desperate for a family and ended up asking a couple of women to have children with him, he admitted that if his mother had still been alive he would never have had kids out of wedlock.

There was the story in his book also about him shagging his girlfriend whilst in training for a fight.

Admits in the book that he was gambling 1/2 million dollars down the swanny, says he finally changed himself when he noticed in a hotel suite one night during a party that he arranged that the people he never set eyes on before and decided to end it right there and sent them packing.

I can't remember it word for word, I finished his book about 3 months ago.

he also admits in the book that he and his wife have underwent marriage guidance. I get the impression from him that he isn't happy with this life, but that's just my opinion.

It's one of my favorite boxing books. Read it and you'll like it. I wouldn't have read it if it was written in a media friendly and politically correct ***gety way.

I was surprised at how good a read it was, I actually finished it within a week.

Took it on my lads holiday to Magaluff, had it read within two days. Should have been admiring the very easy going honeys by the pool yet there I was, reading a book with a half naked man on the cover. Got covered in sun cream though (no homo) :verysad

Outside of boxing, there were numerous **** accusations, the fishnets scandal, and he's fathered a few children from different women. Far from the role model a young De La Hoya was gloating about being in that lame workout video.
