    It makes me sick!

This is why I have little patience with boxing fans because they justify these kind of things because of their hatred for a fighter or because they worship a certain fighter and they don't care so long as they see them get that W.

Let’s be real....Alvarez was never viewed as a immobile, feather fisted blown up JR Middleweight. If anything his power and skills were viewed by Boxing as a whole as being on an elite level. Also, Canelo has always been seen as a JR Middleweight who struggled to sweat down to the 154 weight class. The narrative for years was he needed to move up because he always held a big weight advantage in all of his fights campaigning as a JR Middleweight. The GGG vs Canelo middleweight title fight was not a mismatch or viewed as one. It was pretty evenly split as to who thought GGG would win vs who thought Alvarez would win. The way the fight unfolded surprised everyone because it went the distance and GGG gave Alvarez a lot more problems Boxing than the power differential. The strong majority thought Alvarez would win a UD if it went 12 and the strong majority felt if it ended early it would have favored a Golovkin knockout. What wasn’t as surprising was the controversy favoring the marquee fighter...

Manny wanted the immediate rematch. JMM went to Indonesia to fight Chris John for short money instead of opting for the rematch. I believe JMM lost but it was controversial in nature. I watched the fight but remember feeling Juan beat Chris in a close fight but it was JMM who decided to go that route when there was a big money fight with PAC on the table. JMM from memory, wasn’t happy with the purse but it was more than he made in the first fight and at the time, a career high purse. His choice to bypass the immediate rematch to fight the undefeated Chris John was very unusual and obviously a mistake

Maybe you'd like to summon your .5% of a functioning brain cell and tell me exactly what's so "hollow" about my post...

If the brilliant ring magazine P4P number 1 Golovkin is a Bum and paper champion. Then what the hell are Jermall Charlo, Jermell Charlo, Deontay Wilder, Jarrett Hurd? and who the hell has Terence Crawford ever beat?

What's funny is how you clamp on to every word of posters who you continually disagree with. You buy in to the negative hyperbole just so you can use it later, just as you did here.

Of course Canelo isn't feather fisted. But a couple posters said that, and now you use it as some form of defense ad nauseam.

Canelo backpeddled way to much and took off too long of period of time in the rounds to have been beating 3G as you think he did. Boxers who are schooling another fighter don't do what Canelo did.

So cry about Canelo outlanding 3G in power punches by less than ten if you must. Go ahead and go on about how canelo landed the 'harder' punches. And keep crying about how Liam Smith is better than anyone 3G has beaten. Freaking baby...

It was a DRAW for crying out loud. Isn`t that enough to warrant an immediate rematch? Regardless of Canelo being gifted it. Its a big black eye for boxing if anything but an immediate rematch happens

No surprise you'd think this. Casuals tend to not know how things work in boxing...

GGG has always had the best chin @ 160.
Canelo has reasonable power. Not enough to trouble GGG.
    Canelo did run.

Canelo is still running, hopefully into the arms of somebody he can actually beat.

I hope Lemmy gives him a big hug, and breaks him in half with one of his bombs

    :)
