That's one of the most admirable things about Kovalev. He has that "anyone, anywhere, anytime" attitude, and I genuinely believe he's willing to sacrifice financially to land the big fights. He isn't the kind of guy to personally be inclined to create roadblocks that prevent fights from happening. (Although I think that attitude would be better amplified if he had someone better and more competent than Duva working with him).

Let's see how much of a PPV star Canelo is after he fights this Glass Jawed Brit. I have a feeling the numbers will say he actually isn't a PPV star.

He'll probably be in the 300-500k ballpark, which is consistent when he headlines a PPV fight.

I have never had a bad word for Kov, I favor him in this fight Rums, and Kov is willing to travel anywhere to fight. Money is more of an issue with Ward than Kov. His only misstep was dissing Stevenson which I didn't take personal but many took issue with Kov. But Kov has a black trainer so if he hated *****s, Jackson would know it. And it's fight talk and I'm sure the Krusher really thought that he looked like Crogmagnon man or whatever the pic was lol. To me it was funny.

Maybe 500k according to Oscar but we both know it won't come close to that. Just like we both know Oscar is full of **** and excuses and is blatantly ducking GGG. Just fight the guy and get knocked out already. No shame in that.

Is there any sign that Canelo is the least bit embarrassed?

Couldn't have said it better. I think it should be a split, but this is just getting silly- nothing to see here folks- boxing is on life support by virtue of Kovalev-Ward

No sh*t it is not like they were going to agree on anything that week. Its not like Canelos team would have been ok with giving GGG any type of a fair split.

Oscar has already said GGG is not getting a split and that he isn't worth a split. Thats why they are looking to give him a flat fee. Not the 50/50 GGG wanted before or the 55/45 in favor of Canelo he would of got if it went to a purse bid. But it didn't even get that far because Canelo dropped the belt.

What the hell are you talking about? You said Canelo dropped the belt because he didn't want a 55\45 split when that wasn't the case. GBP didn't even try to make it look that way, they made it clear Canelo vacated because they didn't want the fight for the next 1,5 years. All this flat fee talk is just trolling and a shot at GGG.

Wow... ODLH was known for fighting the best, most people realize it's the promoters. It's obvious they will price out but at that point I hope the whole boxing world turns on that **** face.
