One minute the lineal belt is prestigious, the next minute it's garbage which is why Canelo dumped it.

    Every week it's worth changes.

By this time next year, GG may own ALL of the MW belts.

Also, his stock will rise after Brook.

He's not going to lay down for Oscar.

    Ha!

    Are you for real?

You're seriously asking me that after the amount of time you spend hating on him?

You're now saying that Oscar is fair, even though you've no idea what the figure's going to be.

    What a joke.

Yes, but the concept is the same.

Saying that he'll offer GG his highest payday means nothing without an*lyzing all of the factors.

Hope Canelhoe's next PPV will be a disaster. Boxing doesn't need a wimp like that.

I believe, in principle, I've done that?

How many PPV sales has Canelo headlined cards done?

And how many PPV sales did Golovkin's headline card do?

With Pac and Floyd, those numbers were fairly close over a decent stretch of time. Nothing of the sort can be said to the comparison between Golovkin and Canelo.

Ergo, Canelo has tremendous leverage over GGG in this regard, with a track record to prove it. Floyd's leverage over Pac in that regard, was minimal. They were both regularly getting over a million PPV sales on a regular basis. The difference between Canelo and Golovkin creates far greater distance between those 2.

When these elements are factored in, it's a no-brainer (to me at least) that the "equivalency concept" is flawed on its very foundation.

    How many more times?

    Seriously?

Why do you even bother to spend your time here when you don't even want a debate?

At the time, GG was well within his rights to shame Canelo's actions.

Yes, his words came back to bite him on the a$$ because he's fighting Brook. But the circumstances (feel free to look up the definition) are completely different. Once again: Canelo actively pursued Khan, whilst GG accepted Brook as a last minute replacement. You haters completely ignore the fact that GG had actually signed a contract to fight Eubank. How could they have been a CW at such short notice?

You have no appreciation of anything.

Yes, he said a few years ago that he'd be willing to fight between 154-168. But for the right fight, depending on the circumstances. That does not mean that he should have been made to defend 2 of his MW belts at a CW. And I don't know why you hang on to that, because Oscar wouldn't have taken the fight even if GG had been happy to fight at 168.

Regarding Ward, again, where was the fight? Stop pretending it was there. Again, he'd been out for months and he's just said he doesn't think he can make SMW anymore.

Yes, GG has shown frustration regarding his fellow MW's not wanting to face him. What does that have to do with Erislandy Lara?
