Is Oscar going to do do what is necessary, as the head of GBP, to "save" boxing? Will he make the best matches that people want to see, or will he protect his fighters with the low risk/high reward strategy? Will he feud with other promoters and allow this to affect possible fights, ie. the Kelly Pavlik/Paul Williams situation? He's got so many important names under GBP, I wonder if he's going to use his power for good or ill.
He's going to do what most promoters do. Try to put together the biggest fights that make the most money. He, and GBP, are not going to "save" boxing.
Considering some of his PPV's and all of his undercards I don't hold too much hope that he'll be any different. Prove me wrong Oscar.
when is the last time gbp actually PROMOTED a fight for one of its fighters not named dlh mosley or hopkins
