ODLH would most likely beat Margarito

a prime DLH use to get his ass kicked by Margarito in sparring here in southern Cali, hit some of the Gyms down this way, hit up Azteca Boxing Club those cats can tell ya.

 

Good job Cap. You make some valid points. I'd still favor Marg a bit as he's such a workhorse that I think he'd tire out DLH. 154 only option.

I don't think he REALLY tried to take out Forbes. He had moments where he let his hands go but did he REALLY try?

 

DLH fades in the last 3 rounds of preety much all his fights I think Margs does his best work in the last 5-6 rounds of a fight

I just dont see DLH winning this with the amount shots Margs throws and his superior work rate and conditioning

Margs isnt Vargas or Mayorga he is about a scomplete a pressure fighter you will find

 

but Margo can take it to the chin better then Tito, that mofo has an iron mask below the skin

 

At this point in his career ODLH loses soundly

 

I am dead serious!!! There are even pictures of the two both sparring and together in that club. well its been about five years since I have been there not sure if they are still up, but yeah I am serious, I asked Hector Mota the coach there how their sparring went, and he simply put it this way DLH sparred with him a few times for his fight with Vargas and Margarito actually got to DLH with body shots, says Oscar cant deal with Margaritos body attack.

 

I can see Margs dropping DLH to the body like he did in the Cintron 2 fight

Especialy in the last 3-4 rounds when DLH is winded

 

we have seen that in the past delahoya can be an expert boxer, just watch the trinidad fight. but now not only is he slower and less powerful but he is going to be facing someone who throws twice as much punches as trinidad with just as much power.

delahoya could give margarito a good fight, but i can't see him beating him.

 

I think your delusional. Ten years ago he would've but today? Hell no!!!!

 

Even when DLH was in his prime against Welters he has always had stamina issues, look at the Quartey fight, so even if DLH does have the advantage in the BOXING catogory he would still fade down the streach and with Tonys body assualt Oscar wouldnt be able to move all night, it would be a good fight, DLH would look spectacular early but as the rounds went on Tony would take over and more than likely stop him.
