Hell even Oscar knows he has no chance. Why do you think he backed off fighting Margo even when he said he would fight the winner of the Margo/Cotto fight? Oscars not very smart but he's not stupid. Oscar will fade in the later rounds as always, earlier than usual after eating body shots from Margo. Oscar doesn't like it to the body. Oscars stamina looked good against Forbes but all he had to do was dance on his toes all night as there was no pressure at all from Forbes. But the pressure will be from round one against Margo and it will not let up. Margo's a Goddamn animal in the ring.
No there will no Margo fight and it's a damn shame. Oscar promised he would fight the best in his last fight but of course he lied as usual. And he's going so far the other way he will end up fighting Mora the "champ of The Contender". And what's really sick about that fight is people will actualy pay to see that exhibition.
    Oscars done it again.
PS .... I enjoyed the part where Capfunds said .. "Mayweather landed the cleaner shots and blocked about everything Oscar threw" .... then said Mayweather only deserved a SD????
    Oscarsexuals are really weird.

If it wasn't for Oscar, there would be no fight. Like it or not, Mayweather ran all night.

When all the Mexicans at your job are trying to fight you because Floyd won, then come talk to me about him not running.

Until then, keep lookin up at the poster of Floyd with his shirt off that you got on the ceiling above your bed.

As things stand I reckon Margarito, providing he is on top form could beat De La Hoya on points. It's a close call but I lean toward Margarito at this stage of their respective careers.

With that said.....Forbes is also slicker, more accurate and faster than Marg. DLH could be Marg but I think its his stamina that will be the nail in the coffin so to speak. He would be outboxing Marg for the first half until he began to tire. But if DLH could fight 12 rounds...then yes...no doubt he'd be able to win a UD on the cards.

Ridicilous. Margarito pounds Oscar into submission in 6-7 rounds.

I think you need a serious reminder of what year it is Cap.

Seems too many people base their analysis on what they THINK the fighter can look like rfom their memories of their prime, rather then how they are actually looking today.

DLH will tire even quicker then he normally does, since he'll try to up his output as well.

Yeah and Oscar is fighting Pacquaio because he's the real challenge.

He would make just as much money fighting Margarito whether it be at 154 or 147, he wants no part of it , he prefers fighting smaller guys now.

at this stage of his career he tires too easily after the 8-9th rds, and margo would lay a serious hurt on him in the later rounds.

Maybe from Oscar fans like yourself and Manny fans, but boxing fans such as myself who are not partial to either fighter won't pay for that crap. But, I would pay to see Margarito send DeLaHoya into retirement.
