I mean right now, after their close first fight, both had impressive wins, Hopkins' being the more impressive of the two, I'd like to see a rematch, but the question is right now who is the better fighter?
Their first fight was close but I felt Joe C. won that well enough. But considering both of their last fights, I was more impressed with B-Hops win as most of you probably. Maybe with a better gameplan B-Hop coulda won but that's just speculation. It would be interesting if they do a rematch.
Bernard is my favourite, but I'll go "Too Close". Their fight left very little to choose between them, and a rematch should be revealing. I just have no ****ing idea how long Bernard's fighting clock can continue to tick.
Bernard imo.. made Pavlik look like an amateur and would destroy RJJ much worse than Calzaghe did.. I think a Rematch must happen ! sad it won't.. I know Calzaghe would scream for a rematch if he lost, now he's like "I don't do rematches" :bart
I got to still give it to Calzaghe, he beat the man that dismantle Kelly Pavlik, so he deserves his due. Definitely hopkins had the better last fight of two in just going in terms of their opponents last 5 fights. Definitely a very close call and the two should definitely rematch each other.
If Calzaghe wasnt a ***** and fought Pavlik instead of Roy Jones there would be no queston about his legacy and no one would even talk about Hopkins.
Bernard lost a very close split decision to Calzaghe based on work rate, nothing else. And then he goes and beats the guy that people want Calzaghe to fight ! Is there any question who the better fighter is right now ? Hopkins win over Pavlik and the way he did it is bigger than any win Calzaghe has
I'm wondering if the sheer absence of logic in that last sentence was explained to you in a sixty minute class, with a chalkboard, diagrams, graphs etc., would you have the capacity to grasp it ? My guess is NO.
