anyone who thinks wladimir has **** footwork and that haye has good footwork does NOT know boxing and what footwork actually is,,and anyone who says haye fights different with every fighter is on ****ing glue..hayes defence is shocking.he is always off balance esp when throwing his looping shots (im expecting alot of haye knockdowns because of this)..i could go on but no doubt some silly haye fan boy will say something stupid again like talkin about what audley ****ing harrison said

dont call me a dickweed you dickweed....ive bet my vcash (and my real cash) on who i think will win come fight night so if you see me with 0 when im posting on monday then youl know i got it wrong..what you have to notice is im being a sarcastic ******* towards one because of things that are being said.ull just have to guess which one im supporting wont you if your that ****ing anoyed about it

I think most people think this will be a tough fight for both men and that anything could happen but...

...as with any sporting event, emotions get involved which can cloud ones judgment. Such as when a person uses a word imputing the manner in which their fighter will win, as in Haye by brutal KO, or Wlad KO by vicious left hook, which sounds more like what they want to happen.

BTW. Wlad violently KO's Haye with brutal, ferocious, left hook to the temple in Round 3. :!:

Talk is cheap, as they say.

Let's look at it factually.

Wlad

Ever since Wlad hooked up with HOF trainer Manny Steward, he's been focused on fighting the exact same way.

1: Use the jab, often, to keep the opponent at arms length

2: Minimize the number of power shots thrown. Enough to discourage rivals from being too aggressive, but also to avoid being hit yourself.

Wlad only throws, on average, 50 shots a round. 70% of these are jabs. But his connect rates are actually terrible, using the new tactic.

His last 3 fights, he's landed under 30% of the shots he's thrown.

Wlad dominates as he doesn't get hit very much himself. He uses the jab, and occasional big right, to make himself hard to hit. They don't actually land as much as you think.

Haye

Haye's doesn't throw as many shots as Wlad. He averages about 25-30 per round. Against Valuev it was only 15.

However, his accuracy is his weapon.

Haye lands 60% of his jabs (3x as accurate as Wlad) and 48% of his power shots (twice as accurate as Wlad)

What's more, Haye is very slick at any weight. He's NEVER been hit by more than 7 jabs in a round.

What does this say? It means, he doesn't stand still, and is not easy to hit with predictable attacks. He's always moving. He doesn't come at you straight on. He works angles. Looking for the bomb.

Keys to the fight

I hope these stats show, unless a different Wlad shows up, it's probably all on the jab. Wlad only throws 30-50 shots a fight, that aren't jabs.

Wlad needs to have an effective jab, to not only control the fight, but keep himself from being hit.

However, as you see, Haye is one of the best fighters on the planet at working out the jab. As I said, he's never taken more than 90 jabs in a fight. And has never taken more than 7 in a round.

Of course, he's never faced anyone who can jab like Wlad.

On the flip side, Haye, is probably the most athletically gifted heavyweight since Tyson. I'm not comparing him to Iron Mike, but this isn't a 6'5, 260 pound, athlete. This isn't a static target. This is a guy who's shown throughout his career, that he's not there to be hit with straight, predictable shots.

Predictions

I give Wlad the following advantages:

1: He's fighting in Germany, with a referee of his choosing.

2: Height, weight, discipline and reach.

3: Championship ability. He's been there and done it for years.

I give Haye the following advantages

1: Youth, speed, mobility and athleticism (remember, he's nearly 6 years younger)

2: Ambition/Aggression

3: Accuracy and slickness

If both fighters fight to their recent heavyweight styles and form, Wlad should win.

However, Wlad's recent heavyweight form, has, in truth, a lot to do with the threat of his opponents. As in the general quality, and lack of ability.

If Haye is able to move, and hit, and negate the jab as he has in his career, and work the big shots, from angles, of course he can win.

He COULD win...but it is essentially a formality that Wlad is going to win. He's far bigger, stronger, better fundamentally, and I believe he's in a better place mentally. In any fight the case can be made, but I think Wlad is simply the better fighter, with more experience, better training, and will win the fight.
