Seth's a good fighter, however what raises red flags is that he was stunned in round one by a punch that didn't seem too powerful. It wasn't a cumulation of damage or anything, just a straight right that put him on ***** street.

Seth has good power, has pretty quick hands, has a tough mentality, but his lack of fundamentals, poor defense, and questionable chin is going to hold him back. I think he will be able to mix it up with some top guys, but I don't think he'll ever beat wlad. As far as potential up and comers go, personally I rate Glazkov Slava, Pulev, and Boytsov much higher.

First time I have seen him fight. Props to him for fighting through adversity and getting the win. He also seemed like a pretty decent guy in the post fight interview. However, I've been hearing folks talk about him beating a Klitschko. Ain't gonna happen. He has started way too late. He can accomplish and has but K brother, no way.

I love Seth but we have to put things in perspective in terms of the talent level.

This was a young Lewis vs a young Ruddock

I honestly think this version of young Lewis (younger then Mitchell)

    back to back

    ko both Mitchell and Whiterspoon

    on the same night

    BUT THEN AGAIN

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eisx8ek0l0g[/ame]

this was when Wlad was young

    and look at him now

the division is so **** that even Super Seth can become a champion

    since kbros getting old

    :OOOOO

I like Seth Mitchell but say if he were put into the ring with a Klitschko, it would be lights out, If spoon can hurt him with a telegraphed right hand then Wlad can finish him

That would be a dangerous one for sure, Peter has heavy hands.. If Seth could hold up to the power I think he'd win it.. Peter is not Prime anymore..

he needs to protect himself from the right hand. he's been hit by that punch a lot the last few fights.

    starting to make me nervous

I like him but if any decent HW got him on ***** st like Witherspoon did they would finish him. Seems like his chin aint all that unfortunately. Wicked combos to the body in the 2nd round though, appreciated

hes an exciting heavyweight...thats enough for me. He will probably lose sooner than later. So what. When Seth Mitchell fights, ill watch. Undefeated or with 10 losses, it makes no difference to me.

My take is that Spoon did as best as he could have in round 1. He had Mitchell badly hurt, but wasn't in a position to finish the job.

What I don't understand is, in round 2, why didn't Spoon resume the boxing/punching strategy he exhibited in round 1? I'm talking about Spoon circling Mitchell (Mitchell always has trouble with guys who circle and move on their feet), jabbing aggressively, and setting up more right hands?

For some reason, Spoon moved inside against Mitchell in round 2, and that was his doom. I don't know if Mitchell forced Spoon into a close-quarters fight, or if Spoon got cocky and lost his head. I suspect the latter.

Whatever the case, Spoon was defenseless when the referee jumped in. Very, very badly beaten up. He could barely stand...his entire body was like a limp sack of potatoes, wavering in one direction then the next. It looked to me like Spoon had to be helped back to his corner.

Fighters who let Mitchell unload on them pay the price.
