Of the last 40 years, does anyone besides LL have a chance to beat Vitaly?

We all know Chris Byrd's win was a fluke. Lennox is the only fighter who had really given Vitaly trouble, and even their fight was inconclusive. Based on what I saw in their fight, prime for prime I think Lennox vs Vitaly is more like 55/45 in Lennox' favor. Besides Lennox, I don't think any fighter of the last 40 years has a chance against Vitaly, including Holyfield, Tyson, Ali and Frasier. The only other guy that might give him a real fight is Foreman but I don't see Foreman winning that one. How many HW do you remember who were still good when they were close to 40? What do you think?

Larry Holmes maybe with his great jab, It would be interesting to see Vitali being outjabbed and how he would adapt to it.

You need to give more reasons than just

Invalid point, prime for prime, not 40 year old vs 40 year old

so i reply with no reasons attached some boxers of the last 40 years that would beat vitali

    Larry Holmes
    Mike Tyson
    Muhammad Ali
    George Foreman
    Lennox Lewis
    Evander Holyfield

Does a fighter's whole face have to be ripped off before you see it as conclusive?

LL and Tyson have the best chances, with LL the most.

Jesus Christ might have a chance, but only the second coming version. The pre-resurection version would lose a UD.

Rocky beat Dolph. So I'd say Rocky Balboa.

Gimme a break with them cuts on his face as if cuts were the only things that matttered in boxing. I guess these cuts are the reason why some clowns (most of them from the UK) claim that Lennox was 'beating the **** out of Vitali'.

I'm usually fine with people being bias with the Klitschkos since they're so dominant right now, but this is a bit much. The division is too weak right now to gauge how they would be all time.

Well yeah, if your face is shredded by punches to the extent that the fight is stopped, that would generally be counted as 'beating the ****' out of someone.
