Of the last 40 years, does anyone besides LL have a chance to beat Vitaly?

Well he had him falling all over the ring in the sixth, staggering to his corner and not noticing the referee examining him after the sixth and his corner obviously pulling him out anyway as they put butterfly stitches on his eye (which you're not allowed to fight with). It was competitive while it lasted and Vitali's face was so ****ed up that he couldn't continue. That's conclusive.

Dont know, Lang was a power house with quick hands. Rocky avenged the chin anyway.

Yes, he was winning before he lost. The happens reasonably regularly in all sports.

    Tyson
    Holyfield
    Bowe
    McCall
    Ray Mercer
    Holmes
    Ruddock

Could have all beaten him. Vitali is one of the best HW's of his era, but lets be real, the current crop of HW's isn't exactly going to nominated for Canastota.

Nobody but the idiotic nationalists care whether there are an abundance of American heavyweights or not, the fact remains the division is very very weak. Certainly it is the crappest it has been in my lifetime. They're all fat except the Klitschko's.

I will take Holmes, Holyfield and many others before Tyson. Vitaly has a strong chin so Tyson's power will not be a factor. He can't land much since he is much shorter. Vitaly's power will test tyson's heart and we all know Tyson doesn't have a big heart.

Tyson showed plenty of heart in his defeats to Buster Douglas and Evander Holyfield 1.

Tyson was able to work his way inside and past the jab against fighters much bigger than him, Tyson has to much speed and skill for Vitali
