to beat Wlad you need to knock him out, welliver simply doesn't have power to knock him out and I really doubt he could outbox Wlad.
Povetkin is the biggest ***** on earth. I hope Holyfield rams his head through his pilsbury doughboy face
Respect to Wladimir. He tried to make a fight with 4 top ranked fighters (3 from the top 10. Only Fury is not ranked by The RING) and all of them declined to fight for the undisputed Heavyweight Championship of the world. Go figure.
Nobody ever said it would be easy. That is why Welliver is gunning to set the punch stat records for most punches thrown AND LANDED in a HW Title Fight. :bbb What you have to do is constantly come in against Wlad, let your hands go when you're inside, and then get physical with him when he clinches you and rinse and repeat the entire 36 minutes. If he cracks you he cracks you. But if you survive and force him to fight a torrid pace and muddy the waters up on him inside, you can expose his flaw. His cardio fitness and tendancy to hyperventilate under extreme pressure. At that point, Welliver has plenty enough pop to drop and stop Wladimir. If he is catching Wlad clean, Wlad will go down. If he tires him out, he will start catching him clean much more with loopers. Welliver has the iron chin to run in behind too. He has a tricky and unorthodox style, and he has the power and size not to be rag dolled and stifled inside. He can let his hands go for 36 minutes without letting off the gas. He has the tools to do this job. He just doesn't have the same notoriety of these lesser challengers. Eventually he will though and Wlad will likely still be there because nobody else has the tools to get the job done. :bbb
You know this is whats wrong with the heavyweights today, you have a champion willing to fight any of the top contenders and yet the only guy brave enought to step up is a another former crusiserweight champions althought this one is past his prime and will get crushed. And what kills me its always made out to be the Klitschko's brothers fault, if half of the guys in the top ten had any balls they fight for the greatest prize in all of boxing the heayweight title, what a sad time to be a boxing fan, Two great champions and no real challengers
