Who could have been the complete package if they were not hurried into a title fight htey were not ready for Pete Rademacher- an Olympic Gold Medalist, that doesnt always mean pro sucess but your not really developing as a pro by going right for the title i mean i hate when guys win a medal and then drag their feet and fight bums in the pros , and it seems right that you won the Olympics you just faced the best am opposition so when you enter the pros go right in but a 3 rounder and a 15 rounder ar e way different Rademacher had the great Floyd Patterson on the canvas but eventually lost, his career never really took off Marvis Frazier- son of Smokin Joe showed some skills and beat some difficult opponents in less than 15 fights but rushed in to get KO'd vs Holmes and then again vs Tyson he was never gonna be his father but could he have became the complete package or due to his era would he have taken a seat on the sideline to Tyson who ran through everybody in the mid to late 80's Leon Spinks- yes he won the title fight he got rushed into but was he really ready him winning that belt that quickly really set up his demise as a fighter if he didnt win it that fast and built discipline as a pro he may have materialized or was he gonna fold anyway thoughts?
Well for Spinks anyway he was already going off the rails...highly highly unlikely he ever wins the title or even is top ten without it, his career was maximized.
I don't know anything about Rademacher. Marvis said in an interview that he had eye problems and his career was going to be short no matter what. He said his father asked him if he wanted to just quit, or make one all-out effort to get to the top. He said there was no time for any more development, so they went for Holmes and Tyson. Spinks being rushed wasn't his biggest problem. He was his own worst enemy.
