    He got offered the shot, can't blame him for taking it. He was doing more than I expected as long as he lasted: fast hands, quick jabs, some feinting... but he's not got that champion-level awareness he needs with anyone above domestic level.

    He can probably do some good work at middle and, at the very least, get fed to Sanders for a pay day before retiring. Your point though is 100% right, I guess - he's not big enough at SMW.

    I just hope you learn from this and stop raving about your fave fighters as though they are the next coming of Ali. Smith has been shown up now, so have his fans. I hope we never hear a negative thing from the guy again or an excuse for that matter.

    Up until the ko I thought both guys were doing well.
    Groves very nice off the jab and smith was showing he could close the distance and land, which is what cost him ironically.
    There is nothing for him at super middle now though. I think he should recognise that and if he continues, move to middle and stop there.

    IMO also, this is poor management on wazzas behalf too. Not only is he smiths promoter but he is his manager. He should have advised against stopping at super middle.
    But I agree dft he should have a final shot at middle to see where he ranks in the scheme of things.
