The guy seems to be able to do it all on offense, but its hard to tell on defense since he fights bums its hard to tell if he drops his hands to make fighters commit so he can counter or because he's reflexes are great or is it just an error in his fighting style. So many questions about this guy like when he fights short at time iits because he knows he can get away with is it an error or is it for the **** of it. Hope to see how good this guy really is soon.

The fact that you're willing to refer to top 20 type fighters as "bums" tells me you know ****-all about boxing. I stopped reading as soon as I saw that word. This is not a defense of Bute. It's me telling you that you are an ignorant twit, and fools like you who are so disrespectful to hard working fighters who lay they lives on the line for our entertainment are a major problem with the sport. Be more respectful, or shut the **** up.

Bute sucks. The Super middleweight division sucks. Give me Ward v Bute and then do away with the division entirely.... please.

Pacquiao is. But i think he does have the single most devastating punch in boxing right now.

I don't think he's anywhere close to being the best offensively, although he's definitely above average amongst the top 20-30 guys in boxing.

I'm still waiting for him to put it all together in his fights, not just some of it in each fight.

Right hook to the head; uppercut to the head; left hook to the body, straight left and combos. He can do all of those on par with the best of them, but hasn't yet put it all together, nevermind doing all of that consistently fight after fight.

Were you not familiar with Round's threads before this, then? He's known for bum****ing himself with the idiot stick in most of his threads. It's great.

Sincerely, you might have a point. He drops the right hand as a bate so he can counter. He has good refexes but his best defence when he drops his right hand is the sence of distance and his timming. He gets caught from time to time, but nothing big as he sees the punch coming. He has decent chin despite of all these haters think. The only unknown thing about him is how he will deal with speed with that right hand low, although there are moments when he keeps his right hand up. This make me think that if he fights someone with good spead like Dirrel and Ward, he will keep the right hand up.

Froch had to chase Dirrell all over the ring, while Dirrell ran, held, complained and fell down on canvas. Ward refused to fight in his tournament unless he got all his fights in his home turf, with his referee and judges. Bute will knock Ward out!!!

bute is not an offensive boxer, but his punch is deadly accurate.

Not the best, I think he is better then Ward and Froch. Just my opinion. The way he fights he seems he could beat them.

I'd favor him over Froch (I mean Froch could beat him and deserves to be ranked higher), but you absolutely can't count him out against anyone when he's the rare type that has great power but doesn't just fall in love with it.

the hell is wrong with you? it's still a stacked division, styles are making fights and we will see most of them fight eachother within the next 2 years
