Not to stir the pot but the quotes I read from Arum said that he and Goosen had good negotiation for the Pavlik fight. That it ultimately fell through because of Williams' demands.

I'm sure you weren't saying this when PBF was in that position. Not to mention Williams already beat Margo he should accept the challenge and try to get revenge.

Why do people call it ducking?

Regardless of what you loyal Margo fans say, he is in no hurry to fight him now. WHy? Because, as many of you admit, although he is not physically terrified of Paul, his camp realizes Paul can actually beat him. Therefore, he is a HUGE threat to his career. He has beaten him once, and despite the pitiful ****ing "late start" excuses, he can beat him again possibly. That would be a blow that Bob Arum is not prepared to risk.

He is without a doubt looking for an easier (not necessarily larger) payday that won't involve him losing to the same guy twice in two years. He wants tune-up fights (cherry-picking when Floyd does it) or he wants to get a Payday from Oscar (placing money over the sport if someone else does it)...

So call it what you want, but where I come from, we call that **** DUCKIN!

All this other talk about who needs who and who got fights where, and who signed this contract, or who's manager said this or or that is a bunch of HORSE****!

Sign the ****in paper and get yo ass in the ring!

The fight just got over with it hasn't even been two weeks. How quickly do you think fights are set up? It takes time to look over the best options.

And if you think Margarito is worried about losing then you are really stretching. Margarito isn't worried about losing. If he were worried about losing he wouldn't have fought Paul Williams in the first place!

He's in a position where he could make some money. So as long as he is in the driver's seat he can look at the best offers. 4 million sounds pretty good and I'm sure if that is the top offer he will take it. It isn't like he took a paycut to fight a Sharmba Mitchell or Carlos Baldomir. If he does that then you have a case.

He had to practically be threatened to fight Williams in the first place. Margarito doesn't want a piece of Williams again.

    :rofl

If he really wanted out of that fight so bad he would have listened to his promoter and ditched the WBO title. He didn't. He took the money offer from Goosen and had his boy on ***** street in the 11th.

It is a very winnable fight for Margarito. Better believe if 4 million is top offer he will take it. Jolly Green Giant is going down!

Nah I didn't say he was personally worried about it. Margarito is naturally a fearless aggressive type of guy. But you can bet yer ass that Bob Arum has thought about it PLENTY of times.

And by the way, Margo gets a pass if he chooses Clottey, then agrees to fight Williams. But he don't seem to be in a big rush for that fight either.

We must have been watching another fight, because at no time in the fight did either guy look like they were about to be knocked out.

That is pure Margo nuthugger embellishment. Paul was stung, but never dazed. He was caught with Margos best punches in that round, and if he was so much in danger...
