B hop has a way out of this one. He can do a mistaken clash of heads. Calzaghe is a southpaw that leans forward. He is going to meet the HOP-DOME at some point in the fight early most likely. Calzaghe also falls in. Remember I said this. Calzaghe will have his mental fortitude tested. Hopkins is fighting super old man dirty this fight. LoL

This "high workrate BS" might have worked before against the good prospect but it won't work against a master. BHops will be 43 then but he will make Calzaghe pay for every mistake that he makes.

If it's really a go, it will be interesting to watch how JC measures up to this version of Hopkins.

Hopkins is too good defensively and too smart to fight Joe's fight.

Hopkins by UD. Followed by this forum FLOODED with posts on how dirty Bernard is as a fighter....because, lets face it...the old man will make this fight ugly.

I think normally this may be the case. But there isnt a dirtier fighter than Bernard. If Joe tried to fight THAT fight, it may not last 12....lets just say thats not Calzaghe's comfort zone.

Jc have all the advantages but I'm picking the OLD Bhops.

You don't count out the heart of a champ. I don't expect him to trade . . . he'll try to win by points on every round.

    Borrrrrrrring decission. :yep

I won't put money on it, but I think Hopkins will pull off ANOTHER upset.

TFFP I don't understood you. Most of the time you seem like a knowledgable boxing fan who writes sensible posts but then you throw in odd comments like the one above. I know you're a huge JC fan which is fine but it's wrong to question Hopkins' class in the ring.

JC by UD, Calzaghe throws too many punches and Hopkins is to concerned with not getting hit, this fight will be like Taylor-Hopkins II but Calzaghe will do a more efficient job. Thats truth.

Calzaghe in the 8th, showing off by droppin his guard and plenty of Ali shuffles cause you feel that Joe wants to humiliate Hopkins as well as finish his career. :bbb
