Round 1: 10-10 Even Round 2: 10-9 Williams Round 3: 10-9 Williams Round 4: 10-9 Williams Round 5: 10-9 Winky Round 6: 10-9 Winky Round 7: 10-9 Williams Round 8: 10-9 Williams
Round 8 Williams lands a HUGE right early in the round and follows up with some bombs, Winky not doing much to counter here or fire back. Williams just batters him this round in my opinion, landing at will, some of the punches might seem to be blocked but most of the them going through the gloves. Not much worth mentioning for Wright. Round 1: 10-9 Winky Round 2: 10-9 Williams Round 3: 10-9 Williams Round 4: 10-9 Williams Round 5: 10-9 Winky Round 6: 10-9 Winky Round 7: 10-9 Williams Round 8: 10-9 Williams
Two observations: 1) Williams like to throw that uppercut from way out of range. This is very dangerous and if someone waits for him throw it and counters, he could be in for a world of hurt. 2) If Williams would just sit down on his punches, he could generate a lot more punches. He throws from the arms too much. 79-74 Williams
Wow HBO has been a very shoddy with the production of their showcase tonight. First Emmanuel Steward talks to someone with his mic on while we're scoping out Wright's corner. Then Steward tramples all over Jim Lampley when they go to the replay. Very shoddy.
