Dawson comfortable absorbing the slow methodical punches of Johnson on his turtle shell. Explodes with a combination that earns him some distance. Johnson not even picking his feet up off the mat, just shuffling after his prey now. Even when he gets close there are no power punches as he doesn't seem to think he even has a chance of landing one anymore. He just jabs until Chad gets out of range. Sweeping hook by Johnson misses. 1-2 to the body misses. Dawson bobbing and weaving, intermittently jabbing. Again, a round stealing combination at the bell (from Dawson).

"Chad Johnson" lol, how many times have we heard this tonight. Also, earlier when they showed clippes of Johnson and Bute sparring. Emmanuel "MR. Sandman" Steward said that Bute was one of the best "Cruiserweights around".

 

Yeah, balancing RBR duties with actual enjoyment of a fight is a very delicate art. TBH I'm still not even 100% convinced of my own mastery of it after a few years' practice. :yep
