Didn't Rusty get belted by Anderson in the dunnies of a London restaurant a few years back when Anderson was coaching the Warriors?

He was giving Anderson lip and followed him into the dunnies to show him how tough he was, and Anderson gave him a touch up and had to be dragged off him by Rusty's bodyguard?

Perhaps. I've also heard that he has had run ins with a few Maori players.

Unfortunately, Shane Richardson is an egomaniac and will always insist on having a fair bit of control in the wheeling and dealing.
He also seems infatuated with signing former players and coaches that he's worked with...McRae, Lang, Wesser, Gulavoa, Ben Rogers, Ross, etc etc.

I've heard that, and believe that to be the case too.
I still think he should be more up for it next year though.

 

The endorphins going through his body when he finished Gladiator gave him a false sense of confidence and he thought he could handle his own.

Something similar occurred after or while he was doing Cinderella Man too. Him and Spud Carroll nearly gor into some fisticuffs. I believe Spud held back as he was being employed by him and simply didnt wanna fight him.

I'm not a big Crowe fan. He's a bit of a tit, but he's saved Souths, and has attracted some good names to the club.

 

i think it was a 3 year contract with us but i am guessing he may of put a clause in it that he could leave if he got a GF victory.no proof just a hunch.hes a Queenslander/Broncos man at heart and coaching another side to a GF victory was just for personal pride that he could do it.i couldnt give a **** after 31 years and 5 GF losses hes got 1 for the Mighties.:happy:happy:happy

 

The only positive Richardson has for souths, is his HATE for Roosters, other then that he is a nuffie. My souths mates reckon Sheens is a done deal for 2012. Might eventually see a Souths vs Roosters gf.

Thats just something that Roosters fans and guys who have it in conjured up.

The real reason is because Rusty took offence at some of the things Watson was saying about Souths.

 

Rusty must get a bit mouthy on the turps. I got told Buddy Gordon gave him a hiding on a souths cruise a few years ago.

 

That'd be a sight to see.

They usually play the WCC the same day as the CS.
