Storm get to keep the 99 Grand Final win, so Mundine will still be remembered as being a greedy glory-seeking ****, knocking on in front of the tryline instead of passing it for a certain try to win the game :rofl

Even the AUDITORS can't save ya Choc!!!:lol::lol:

Does Anyone feel that David Gallop seems to never have the Spotlight on him? his on the news every week saying "We are Sorry" "We are heading in the right Direction" "we are working things out"

i say give him the Sack, he was working AGAINST the ARL back in the superleague wars, His doing a bad job, But the Media never seem to shine a light on him.

The one thing Brian Waldron said that should be of interest is "everyone's doing it".

funnily enough, i was told today from a good source that one prominent Sharks player who was ready to leave, only stayed when money outside the cap was made available to keep him.

I'd say most clubs are rorting it to some degree.

Jet honestly do you think the Sharks are over the salary cap? There whole team wouldnt have cost them $100,000.

    This is the bigger Point.

David Gallop has already come out today and said they wont investigate all the other 15 teams. It will only be Melbourne.

I get the feeling everyone is doing it and Gallop now is ****ing being the worst CEO ever by not going ahead and going through every teams finances.

IMO this is BUll**** i know Storm cheated but this is Gallop Bull**** at its best.

Right now there to scared to investigate every team.

Gallop doesnt want Cronulla to win the minor premiership with a total of 2 points.

    Now that would be amusing.

    Not actually true there Boppa.

He said they will keep auditing clubs like they have done so in the past, but they wont be auditing other clubs simply because of whats happened with Melbourne of late.

There are nervous CEOs across the game this afternoon. There’s a rumour being floated that one Sydney club is $800,000 over and the NRL are about to pounce.

This was posted by Phil Rothfield on his blog this afternoon. I bet it's the Chooks. It'd explain why Gus kept attacking the salary cap on the footy show last night. :yep

Burgess is on about 200K, while we signed Taylor while he was playing in the QLD Cup, before he showed his world class form late last season.

I can see why some would look at our squad and how it has improved over the years, but the fact is that we were paying ****s like Hegarty, Gulavou, Kidwell, etc overs and now that they're gone, we can spend their money on quality.

Those 3 imposters I mentioned were apparently on over 900K a season during their later days at Souths. :patsch

Kidwell out of those 3 was decent.I still get a hardon over memories of his hit on Lil Willy.

Your definetly right about your big buys Burgess and Taylor..Its well known that Burgess didnt come to oz for the cabbage. This bloke would be getting 600grand plus in the cashed up superleague.:deal

And Taylor was actually a unknown quantity when Souths purchased him. Bennett and co knew how good he COULD be but he rarely showed it up until Souths threw him a bone.
