Yeah Parra are going ok ATM....you get the thinking they could start to hit their straps anytime soon.

What I'm liking Ash is that they aren't actually playing their best. Far from it. Mortimer definitely looks to be having a case of the second year blues. Good to see Hayne get some open space for his 50m try.

 

Didnt see last night game but tipped the Eels.

Thats 3 in a row now? Not bad considering you guys arent playing the type of footy you did at the end of last year.

On another note, I hear the titans are in some real **** with the salary cap and will be stripped of competition points. Lets see if it turns out to be true.

 

Mate dont worry penrith will take care of the Titans regardless of how much dosh they are slipping under the table..

Im guessing a 26-18 scoreline..

I actually think atleast all the clubs have rorted the cap at some stage in the past few years..

I remember when Girdler and Gower were on hlaf the bloody cap just between them..I was abit suspicious when Penrith were able to keep the likes of Waterhouse,Lewis,Rooney and Clinton after the grand final triumph...All had serious bonuses in their contracts and having just becoming genuine rep players they garnered alot of outside offers. .Got to remember Gower,Pridiss,presto,Wesser and Puletua were already on big contracts at the time..

I know for a fact(mates with gower family and Gowers dad was my coach) that at his peak was on 600plus with penrith.I still cant believe it.

 

On Phil Rothfields blog the other day, he said that Shane Richardson should be thankful that noone ever bothered to look into Gower's contract.

Every year about 8 clubs get caught being unexpectedly 30K or so over due to unexpected incentives.

 

Mate Gower got whatever he wanted when a Penrith..And look how he treated them in the end..Im good mates with his younger brother but dont think much of Craig..When i was at the Panthers its a huge rule that you cant go near the Cheerleaders(ALL SLUTS).I banged one of them but then cut ties with her..

Gower was seeing his now wife(Amanda) who at the time was the Captain of the cheersquad and the powers that be let it be.The thing i couldnt believe is she went from a skanky peroxide blonde Cheergirl earner 200bucks a game whilst idolising any footy player who showed a interest to a stuck up ****wit that actually thought she was a somebody..

You should see her now.Thinks she is Paris ****ing Hilton or one of those sex in the city Broads.I feel like spitting on her anytime i see her.

 

Yeah, I've heard stories about Gower.

Didn't he also have a crack at Wayne Pearce's daughter while he was his origin coach? Guys got balls. Gotta give him that.

 

Yeah the blokes a right **** when on the ****..I seen him cop the mother of all beatdowns at a penny nightclub.He was wearing leather pants(i kid you not) and big fat gold chains,walking around being a sleazy ****.I dont know what exactly happened beforehand but all i see is gower getting the absolute **** punched out of him by a bloke who could throw em good..

The funniest part was seeing the king of concussion's Martin Lang come steaming through the crowd and smash tackle the bloke who belted Gower.I was only 16 at the time so loved seeing one of my first bar room brawls..

Gower has a fight record that would make one of the philo fighters seen on fox cards look good.

The greatest one i ever seen was a Serbian mate of mine snapkick Ned Catic in the chin at panthers Leagues club.TIIIIIIMMMMMMBBBEEEERRR

 

Quick question for you boys.....

Have the referees allowed longer for the tackler to release the player - this Super League season has been ruined so far by so much holding :-(

 

They let them wrestle and hold too much in Rugby League now..

Aslong as the Mosley v PBF fight(which is minutes away) isnt a hugfest then i will be pretty happy for today.lol.

 

I'd not noticed it last season at all, but they are allowing them to turn players over onto their backs or a third player dive on about three seconds later, when it should be a penalty and ten minutes in the bin for that ****.

And offsides - the shortest ten metres ever now :-(

He didnt seem to have an aggressive bone in his body..

 

very disappointed in the Dragons-Sharks game.would of like to have seen Dragons score 1 more try to make it 42-0 so it would of been the amount of years Sharks have been around and 0 representing premierships won.i expect the bye to push the Sharks this weekend.may even go to golden point.

 

Dragons are going to smash Manly this weekend.....hope teke wont top himself :hi:

 

Both teams play a structured type of game. The main difference being is that the Dragons can maintain their top form over 80 minutes and Manly cant.

I'll say Dragons 1-12 seeing as how its at Brooky.
