Sitting nicely in 3rd and are finally starting to play for the whole 80 minutes. Wesser is back and the halves are slowly but surely getting stronger.

Next week we'll be light in the forwards with Taylor and Burgess on rep duties, and Geddes out injured. Luke might also get suspended due to his tackle of the cat Thurston. I personally think he should be given a few more Dally M points for the hits.

Souths to run down the Dragons and finish minor premiers. :deal

our depth and attitude will be tested in Brisbane next week without Burgess, Taylor and Geddes... if we can put up a good performance, we are real contenders...

That was the worst knee injury ive seen in a while. Tough SOB.

Souths played great football and even Sandow played well Pecks. The only thing that worried me was Lukes kicking. Against a better team that could have been the difference. But the forwards were far better than any other club Ive watched this year. They were on Fire.


As for the NSW squad. Thanks for handing the Origin to QLD. Cheers its been great 5-0.

They keep leaving out the 2 best in form players for NSW.

How interesting it would be if both Hayne and Slater got suspended from Origin. Hayne isn't going to be playing fullback anyway, so he may as well be out. QLD without slater would be very VERY defensively weak.

 

Unrelated but not really, what's the NSW lineup? I know they picked Kurt "OLD MAN" Gidley. What about the rest?

Why do the selectors keep picking Matt Cooper. Surely Jennings or Josh Morris deserve selection before cooper.

I seriously believe that if we had this team we would have smashed the Maroons this year, but now because Gidley is still in we are rooted.

 

I agree. its a crime that gidley is there and soward cant get a run..
but surely gallen has to be there before minichello.
