Gvozdyk is a lot sharper but just seems so light and easy to move. Even the force of some of his own connects knock him back and off balance at times. Could be susceptible to flash knockdowns.

    7-3 to Gvozdyk. Lead widening.

Amador pretty much needs a miracle KO or a dive. :yep

That has to be a disadvantage to Amador, academic though it is...received a standing count after getting shaken, then immediately has the physician shine his little pocket flashlight in his eyes while examining him, and then boom...time in. A bit disorienting a sequence.

Gvozdyk got his timing and range down and started throwing more combos at the start of the second and controlled the rest of the fight. Good performance.

    18-6 Gvozdyk

He fought in WSB 5 rounds no headgear and went 4-0 beating very good compitition. He was fighting at 185 though and at 178 does look noticably thinner. Did you see his firsat fight against the Belarusian? He was very strong and it was a tough fight but Gvozdyk imposed himself on him and hurt him with punches.

Enrico Kolling (Germany) vs. Abdelhafid Benchabla (Algeria) will be our show closer.

Kolling keeps pressuring, but ineffectively. Has he heard of jabbing?

All Benchabla has to do is keep flurrying while stepping back and letting Kolling barge into his fists while missing big overhands. Not pretty, but fairly straightforward.

Benchabla was the LHW Champ in WSB season 1 that's how he qualified for the Olympics. Gvozdyk fought in WSB this year and beat him.
