    I just think he'd be better of developing in the ams out of the spotlight. Rather than knocking over bums for a few years as a pro, he'll be facing quality international opposition out of the limelight, where a loss isn't the end of the world and he can work on developing his technique. The money isn't a big issue, elite amateur boxers in the UK are very well provided for.

    Your comments about Mayweather are not worth responding to. Refresh my memory, however: how did the UK's finest do when he matched up with Floyd??

    Or are you saying that Hatton wasn't a "dangerous fight" (and therefore unwittingly proving my point that UK fighters suck in the pros).

    As for Ward, was the Froch fight close? Ummm.... no, so how the **** would fighting in Nottingham have made a difference? Wait, I stand corrected: Froch would have earned another hometown decision (ala the Dirrel fight).

    Broner did not lose the fight, and he's what: 22? How do you think a rematch would go?
