What a mess that last round was. They both suck.

Like I said the non-scoring in the 2nd won it for the Italian. They were both poor...so whatever. Usyk is gonna beat him bad.

So Mammadov wins the 2nd 6-4 and Russo the 3rd 9-4 lol Mammadov won the 2nd by a wider margin than Russo did the 3rd. Terrible scoring

As much as i dislike Russo with his attributes and style its unlikely to ever see him get totally dominated. Even Chakhkiev who is a destroyer didn't have a easy time.

This is what im expecting. Hopefully not but we'll see.

    I've got...

Light flyweight: Shiming over Pongprayoon, by at least four points.

Bantamweight: Nevin over Campbell, controversially close.

Light welterweight: Berinchyk over Iglesias, tight, maybe countback or even vice-versa.

Middleweight: Falcao Florentino over Murata, comfortably by a few points

Heavyweight: Usyk over Russo wide or by RSC (hopefully)

He should get by Toledo Lopez today, but he's got a tough draw in way of nabbing gold assuming Evaldas Petrauskas comes through his own semifinal against Han.

I'll be rooting for Petrauskas, who's been a beast.

Murata's body punching took Falcao's movement away and he beat him on the inside. In the first round when Falcao was outboxing him he still had a difficult time penetrating Murata's guard. Falcao will need to box and try to counter Murata to the head any time he goes to the body to discourage it. It's a interesting style clash.
