That's the sad state of amateur boxing...

Do research before writing smth. Insulting is way to go these days.
Yes, Vasyl moved up in category in 2011 but he's not reaching weight limit of 60 kilos and keeps his original weight, while Lopes sits just around 60.

I honestly wouldn't have minded Petrauskas losing to someone as talented as him, in fact I'd have favored Lomachenko (by nowhere near as much as he should be favored over Han, but still favored) - but he should have at least had a crack at him. He's more than earned it over the course of the tournament, including just now.

Lomachenko looks noticably smaller than almost every oppoenent he's fought since moving up to 60KG. Hence his style change and why he now has to pressure and fight on the inside....

The Ukr is not great for a high ranked fighter.

No he's not, Lomachenko has fought up to 64kg in the Ukraine. He was forced to choose between 56 and 60kg when they got rid of 57kg division, he chose 60kg and the reason why he stayed amateur is to grow into his body. You're an idiot if you think he doesn't come in at 60kg.

He's not. He's probably the weakest fighter in our team on these games.
I wish Khytrov was moving on instead of him.

Smaller in height yes, even at 57kg he was shorter than a lot of his opponents. I think his slight style change has more to do with him getting ready for the pro ranks tbh.

:patsch I know who he fought and why as i am following his career closely being actually his neighbor from Odessa :p
And yes, Vasyl's father is not rushing his weight as he wants Vasya gain it slowly without losing shape or going pure muscle mass.

Evans is putting in work. Lots of movement and punches in bunches.

He'll have a full day tomorrow to rest before meeting Zamkovoy or Sapiyev, though. (unlike those who participated in the first batch of semis earlier :!:)
