Ivan Dychko vs Erik Pfeifer

 

Dychko is my dark horse for a medal...

 

ropes keep pfeifer up after getting hurt from a good right. Dychko wins round 1 pretty easy.

 

Pfeiffer is not bad. Dychko looking impressive!

 

Dychko has adopted Wlad's style a bit

 

Kinda. He did crap first two rounds, looked awful, then his opponent gassed bad in the 3rd and just kept going down out of exhaustion. Only got 1 warning when could have been dq'd, and the japanese lad scored enough punches in the 3rd alone imo to win the fight so I thought he was robbed, was a close pts decision but the other lad should have been stopped or dq'd.

 

Abdulhamidov was fairly comfortably outboxing him. Then it all wents nuts in the third, with Shimizu, the Japanese guy knocking seven shades of **** out of him as he seemed to completely run out of steam.

Abdulhamidov spent the third being punched in the face, getting knocked down, clambering to his feet, going down deliberately to waste time, taking a point deduction etc. The ref basically let him away with it. And then the judges scored the round even apart from the point deduction! Which may well be the worst bit of scoring for an individual round that I've ever seen.

 

Anyone ever see this Canadian?

 

Dychko looks like he'll make a very good pro, for those that know better, what's his chin like?
