Whoa, hold on. So, after adding up all of the scores, and finding out they're still even, the judge just clicks on who he thought won? You gotta' be joking me, right??

Ya well the fact that Khytrov only won rounds 2 and 3 by one point is terrible enough judging but this....

Truely demonstrates how corrupt it was.

    Just curious.

It seem like the poster Strike is the only guy who knows what a jab means under the Olympic scoring system.

I actually thought the games started out with good judging. Now we have gotten **** for two days.

I need a break. I'll watch Falcao later.

    "

It is a **** scoring system and has been for a long time. I felt Joshua won the World Championships but he lost to the hometown guy. This is not a case of RJJ in 1988 being robbed, it is a case of a dreadful scoring system and judges being swayed a bit by the crowd.

The reality is that body shots rarely get scored and if a guy throws a combination of 3 fast shots that all land he is never going to get 3 points, because the judge cannot hit the button fast enough with the other judges also hitting it fast enough at the same time to add points.

If it was simply corruption then how the **** did GB win bronze rather than silver in the gymnastics? Why didn't the diving duo get a medal instead of 4th place?

If you didn't even know that. Then stfu about robberies.

Familiar with amatuer scoring and somewhat with olympic scoring - three judges have to register at the same time a clean shot with "sufficient" power, so a jab could be the same as a power punch, and it does not award flurries or shoe shines in theory because the winner of an exchange will get a point. It favors the deliberate one-two one-two Klitshcko ranged style where there is no engagement and clean shots snap the head back in general, from a jab or punch.

yep. it's a joke. pretty ****ed.

the azerbijiani fighter getting 10 points for hitting the canvas more than his opponant yesterday was horrific. only 2 points behind.

it is a bad decision. but it was pretty close.

i dont think ogogo won but it wasnt like the ukrainian dominated either. thats all im trying to say.

    The results were fixed:
    Khytrov: 2+3+3+7+6+7+10+8+7=53
    Ogogo: 5+5+5+6+5+6+7+6+7=52

And judges somehow scored it it as 52-52

It's a poor scoring system IMO, but have no idea how to score a fight

They should be scored like Pro fights.
Take off those those ****en kiddie hats & go to a 10point must.

    Bring back the KO.
