And...do we have a link to this being official??? Because I cant find one whisper anywhere saying it is.
 knew it'd turn out something like this. I call for moratorium on the word "official" in fight announcement threads.
wait a second is this going to be at cruiserweight? so when Cunningham is Adamek's mandatory he cant make the weight and is moving to heavy but because Hopkins wants the fight hes going to stay?
Again...is this fight official or not? I cant find a thing other than some posts on forums saying so.
It's probably been said earlier in this thread: as of now this fight is NOT official. Apparently both Duva / Adamek and Schaeffer are happy with the details (though according to Duva, Schaeffer still has some negotiating with HBO to do...) Crucially, Bhop has not signed and until he does this fight is - at best - very likely...
What this would mean for both fighters: Adamek would, probably, be a top 5 CW of all time if he beats Hopkins and Hopkins would just grow his legacy winning another belt in another division. Anyway, (If this fight is official, and I haven't see anything official yet) my money would be on Hopkins. Hopkins is old and he might be biting off more than he can chew because Adamek is way more skilled than Pavlik, and Adamek is much much bigger than Hopkins. Tough to say it would be a very interesting fight.
Hopkins 15 month lay off with additional pounds for the first time in the CW... Adamek in his prime and at natural weight... I bet on Hopkins against Pavlik, but this time I can't see him beating Adamek. This will be also a great war of trainers: Nazim Richardson vs Andrew Gmitruk
